Babul and the Blue Bear is a fresh, anarchic and unique piece of theatre, bringing the worlds of hip-hop, mask, puppetry and street art together in a bold, dynamic and original way.
The play explores the themes of cultural identity, divided loyalties, racial tension and a sense of belonging in a multi-cultural Britain.
Told from the perspective of Benny - a young mixed-race man growing up in a white community, this is an important story for our time.
