Gdansk’s The Other Side Of The Mirror & Lusaka's Barefeet have been twinned to create a brand-new theatre double-bill for Contacting The World in Liverpool as part of the city's Capital of Culture celebrations.

Archedream
Archedream is the substance of which dreams are made. What leads us to our dreams? What happens when you imagine how determination could make anything possible. What is more important - reaching the destination or the journey itself? The Other Side of the Mirror create this performance, inspired by their twin’s wheelbarrow journey to Poland from Zambia.
The Other Side of the Mirror consists of young artists at the beginning of their artistic and professional road of life. They specialise in both outdoor and indoor performance spectacles.
Performed with minimal language.
Barefeet (Zambia)
Tujuka Must Die!
Is there something bigger than all of us? Something so terrible we cannot imagine? A group of people who have lived on an island for a very long time are scared to move on or leave or grow because of fear of the unknown. And then slowly it becomes clear…Tujuka Must Die!
Barefeet make physical, comic and inventive theatre, frequently with a social or political angle. It utilises the many tools available including dance, mime, mask and music wrapped in a bold and lively design. One element of Barefeet is the influence of tribal ceremonies and traditional Zambian rituals as a source of inspiration and communication.
