Welcome to Play Space The Beta Test.
From Grand Theft Auto to World of Warcraft; Super Mario to Singstar video gaming is now a multi-billion pound industry incorporating everything from big blockbuster tie-ins to innovative independent producers. Yet as an art form its potential has barely been tapped. On March 11th we will be exploring the crossover between video gaming and live performance in a brand new night, Play Space The Beta Test - and we want your ideas!
Funny or thoughtful; clever or cutting we are looking for original performance proposals that bring stage and computer screen together in fresh and ingenious ways.

Consist of a five minutescratch performance and a five minute presentation for the panel of judgesand audience.

Plus, one proposal will be selected by our panel of judges to receive £500 and a week of rehearsal space to help develop it into a performance that will appear at Contact.
